The project consists of three main parts. The truck, the seats and the overall graphic design elements. The truck works as a backdrop of the seat area.
Both its concept and design are based on the trucks that were delivering Coca-Cola bottles in the Netherlands in the 50’s. A picture of such a truck can be seen on the canvas on the back side.
The seats, modular and re-arrangeable, are placed in front of the truck and work as a lounge area, where the guests can hang out and enjoy the goodies TREK Festivals have to offer.
The “hero”–a storytelling element–is placed among the seats. It is an authentic vintage 6 bottle aluminum carrier resting in a plexiglass box, which in turn incorporates a short history of the food truck tradition.
Last but not least, the third part of this project included the branding of the A4 clipboards and the design of A1 menu boards, placed at the festival’s bar tents.
